Sebastián Castro

Sebastián is a lawyer from the University of Chile (2007), LL.M. from the University of Chicago (2010-2011), MSc in Regulation from the London School of Economics (2011-2012) and holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Oxford (2012-2015).
He has focused his professional practice on competition law, regulation, public policy, litigation, and arbitration, and is an arbitrator (2024-) to CAM Santiago.
In the public sector, Sebastián served as Head of the Market Studies Division at the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (2017-2023).
Throughout his career in the private sector, he was an associate at Bulnes Urrutia and Bustamante, as well as at Urenda Rencoret Orrego and Dörr.
Sebastián is active in the academic field as a professor in the Doctoral Program in Law at the Universidad de Desarrollo and has taught undergraduate courses at the University of Chile, Adolfo Ibáñez University, and Alberto Hurtado University.
